Sciatica Diagnosis

Nursing Diagnosis - A Nursing Diagnosis is a diagnosis of a patient's state of being, symptom, or reaction to a circumstance such as a disease process. The Nursing Diagnosis consists of a North American Nursing Diagnostic Association (NANDA) label with related factors and diagnostic criteria.

Diagnosis - Diagnosis (from the Greek words dia = by and gnosis = knowledge) is the process of identifying a disease by its signs, symptoms and results of various diagnostic procedures. The conclusion reached through that process is also called a diagnosis.

Diagnosis of exclusion - The term diagnosis of exclusion refers to a medical condition whose presence cannot be established with complete confidence from examination or testing. Diagnosis is therefore by elimination of other reasonable possibilities.

Prenatal diagnosis - Prenatal diagnosis is the diagnosis of disease or condition in a fetus or embryo before it is born. The aim is to detect birth defects such as neural tube defects, chromosome abnormalities, genetic diseases and other conditions.
